About This Class

A Winter mood board in watercolor is a visual and emotional reference that captures the essence of winter to guide your painting style, colors, and subjects. Its is like a creative map that helps an artist understand how winter should feel and look in their watercolor work before they begin painting.

The Color choices are important like the cool blues, neutral tint, warm yellow and white highlights for the snow which can show various subjects like foggy mornings, snow laden pines, mountains, frozen lakes and much more. When I talk about winter it is an emotion which basically covers calm & silence, cozy warmth, slow living, peaceful solitute & magical winter nights.

Lastly lets focus on why Artists create Winter Moodboard ?

  • Plan a winter painting series

  • Maintain consistent style and colors

  • Find inspiration before painting

  • Create a seasonal theme for their artwork

If you too are in love with Winters this is the class for you as we have 4 projects independent of each other broken into three simple steps drawing, Initial washes and final detailing. More updates about the projects is given in the Project Description Section.
