Drawing to Painting Cupcakes Without Reference

Nianiani, Watercolorist and Graphic Designer

Project Instructions

This class is very flexible, and the class project can either be loose ink drawing of cupcakes or a loosely painted ink drawing of the same subjects.

As this class also covers ideation of composition, it would be recommended to create your very own composition for your final art if you are an intermediate or advanced doodler. However I for those of you who are new to drawing or painting, you can work on the exercises I’ve provided in the downloadable section and I’ve also attached both my pencil outline as well as my inked outline, so you can choose the level you want to work with.

Once you are done, please consider posting your final art in the project section of the class to share your work with me and your fellow students!

Happy doodling and painting everyone!
