Creative Flow: 7 Days of Mixed Media Abstracts with Everyday Materials
Cornelia Zelinka-Bodis, Mixed Media Artist
About This Class
You don’t know what to create, feel pressured or stuck? This class focuses on how to start and maintain a creative practice. Painting abstracts with everyday materials is a relaxing way of creating, it opens up a lot of space for chance and experimentation. Since you’re working with unpredictable materials, you can’t control the final result, which forces you to focus on the process and staying present.

We will focus on
- possible instead of impossible,
- the abundance of possibilities
- and getting into momentum.
You will learn about
- your paints and how to use them,
- creative applications of everyday objects,
- and going with the flow - or the flow mindset.

We are using pretty common materials and I recommend preparing everything after watching lesson 3 (Gathering the Materials). That way you have removed all barriers to entry and only have to start creating your project everyday. I recommend reserving about 20-30 minutes each day.
